| our aim |
|
| To spark a global movement in schools by empowering churches with kingdom minded apprentices who serve in the youth ministry and the work in the local schools, building a relational bridge between the two. |
our motto |
| Missionaries Making Missionaries |
our passion |
| We are passionate about the young people of our world and are desperate to see people in the relationship with God that he intended us to have. We work with schools and churches to help bridge the gap between them and help young people find their purpose as they grow in their understanding and experience of God. |
our name |
'Pais' is the New Testament Greek word for 'child' or 'child servant to the king'. Our vision is to take the young people we reach and help them find their purpose to serve God. Mission lies at the heart of Pais. We don't see it as a one-off event, but seek to help people develop a missionary heart, missionary skills and a missionary life. As each missionary makes a missionary, we see our world change! |
our logo |
Our icon is the hash of the nought's and crosses game [tic tac toe]. To win the game, you have to join a row of symbols. For Pais, our success is in our successors. Our icon therefore represents our desire based on the philosophy set out by Jesus in Luke 10:5-7: to spread, spot, stay and send. # Spread the message # Spot the people of peace # Stay with them to invest in, and empower them # Send them out as missionaries |
